In June 2020 the project office in Hammelburg was put into operation. Here the diverse mobile education programms and public events are planned and organized. Parallel to that, the permanent exhibitions in the upper floors of the Kellereischloss is being designed.

The interactive exhibition with modules that invite visitors to participate in shaping their Rhön, will center around social and economic sustainability. As sustainability is not only protection of nature and ecosystems but also building a future-proof society. This is a fundamental focus of biosphere reserves, that the NEZ aims to present in new and innovative ways. Target audience for this location will be teenagers and young adults.
