The Hammelburg Location of the NEZ will focus on sustainability in urban areas, especially social and ecological facets, always connecting them to visitor's lifes.

The exhibition is going to use innovative media supported modules as well as analog participatory elements. Filter bubble visitors can walk into, video and boardgames with sustainability focus as well as information about the Rhön, the exhibition has options for everyone.

In the process the NEZ aims to be a "Third Place": Next to work/uni or school and home it present an informal possibility to pause and linger. A modern but cozy design focussing on natural materials is going to foster this. Sustainable snacks and drinking fountain included, of course!

Encompassing concept of the permanent exhibition is the area of cooperation of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Rhön. The exhibition is currently in development with a creative agency and will be implemented as soon as the library Hammelburg has relocated.
