On 17.07.2022 the city library Hammelburg is open and offers a selection of "human books" in cooperation with the NEZ Rhön and the Human Library Organization, Copenhagen.

This organization aims to bring people together through 30 minute conversations, or "readings". Prejudices, stigmata and preconceived notions about certain societal groups can be challenged during these talks.

For this event books with topics concerning sexual orientation, family relationships or unusal occupations can be read in the city library.
